About Leigh Ferguson, Nurse Practitioner

Leigh serves as a Nurse Practitioner at the Delaware Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine. Leigh obtained an Associates Degree in Nursing from Delaware Technical Community College before beginning her career at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She continued her education at Gwynedd Mercy University receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Later, she attended the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Master of Science in Nursing. Following graduation, Leigh joined The Birth Center: Holistic Women’s Healthcare, providing comprehensive family planning, obstetric, preconception, sexual health, prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care to women of all ages in a private OB/GYN practice.
