About Lisa Shallis, CRNP

Lisa Shallis, CRNP serves as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner at the Delaware Center for Maternal Fetal Medicine.  Lisa obtained her Nursing degree from Harrisburg Area Community College before beginning her career as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital. She spent 23 years supporting women and their families through the birthing and postpartum periods.  She helped develop a postpartum depression screening program that is still used today.  She continued her education through Ohio University receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Later, she received her Master of Science in Nursing through Frontier Nursing University.  She started her Nurse Practitioner career in Maternal Fetal Medicine in York through WellSpan Health system.  Later, returning to Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital serving in the OB/GYN Women’s Clinic providing obstetric, gynecological, care to the underserved and uninsured.
